The migration of Version 1.0 to Version 2.0 changes the traditional black/white templates (Version 1.0) to light colored template (Version 2.0), the light colored templates make it easier to recognize the big picture and find details. The light colored sessions will be easily and completely covered by the final paints.

Paint by Numbers 1.0 normally has less details (numbered areas). It is not only easier and take less time to complete but also with less details and gives less feelings of painted layers. Version 2.0 allows more details than 1.0 and gives pretty good results. Version 3.0 are more challenging as they normally have 20% more details than generation 2.0. More colors, more subtleties and layers, but also take more time and effort to complete. Both Version 2.0 and 3.0 have light colored canvas templates while Version 1.0 has black & white templates.
